Privacy policy
HueKit is built to ask for as little as possible. This page explains what actually happens to your data today, and how things work if advertising or analytics are switched on later.

What runs in your browser
Every HueKit tool, from the hex to RGB converter to the palette extractor, does its work with JavaScript running on your own device. Colors you type, images you drop into the palette tool, and every generated shadow, gradient or glass effect stay in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and none of it is seen by us.
Cookies and local storage
HueKit itself does not set tracking cookies or use local storage to build a profile of you. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.
Third-party advertising
HueKit may show display ads served by third-party advertising partners to help pay for hosting and development. When an ad network is active on a page, that partner can set its own cookies or use similar technology on your device to measure how ads perform and, where permitted, to personalize which ads you see. HueKit does not control what those partners do with that data; each network publishes its own privacy policy covering how it processes information collected through its ads.
Your consent choices (EEA and UK visitors)
If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you will be shown a consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set or personalized ads are loaded. That banner is provided by a Google-certified consent management platform, and lets you accept or reject advertising cookies. Ads may still appear if you decline, but they will not be personalized using cookies.
Analytics
HueKit does not currently run analytics. If aggregate, privacy respecting analytics are added later to understand traffic at a page level, they will follow the same cookie and consent rules described above, and this policy will be updated to say so.
Children
HueKit is a general audience reference tool for designers and developers. It is not directed at children, and it is not designed to collect personal information from anyone.
