Using HueKit
HueKit is free to use, with no account or sign up required. You can use the tools for personal or commercial work. Do not scrape the site aggressively, try to break it, or use it for anything unlawful.
What HueKit provides
HueKit's tools convert colors, generate CSS, check contrast, and extract palettes from images, entirely in your browser. The conversions use standard, well understood formulas, and the WCAG contrast checks use the official relative luminance method. That said, results are a computational aid, not a guarantee: for example, the CMYK values use a common on screen approximation, so production print jobs should always be checked against a real printer profile before going to press.
No warranty
HueKit is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It is not guaranteed to be error free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Use your own judgment before relying on any result for something important.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HueKit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or its tools.
Advertising
HueKit may display ads from third-party advertising partners on some or all pages. Ads and how they use cookies are covered in the privacy policy. Using the site means accepting that ads may appear alongside the tools.
Intellectual property
The HueKit name, design, and code belong to its operator. The underlying color math and named color references are standard, public information; the curated color library and its presentation are HueKit's own work.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continuing to use HueKit after a change means you accept the updated terms. If this page changes in a meaningful way, the date at the top will change with it.
